Irving Layton Fonds

Welcome to the Irving Layton Collection at the University of Saskatchewan Archives and Special Collections.

There are two collections represented on this website. The first materials, MSS 3, came to the University of Saskatchewan from Laurie Hill Ltd. in 1963. Included in this archive of three boxes are published materials, anthologies, tape recordings, manuscripts (by Layton and others) and material published in periodicals.

The second acquisition occurred in January of 2009 from Irving's son Max Layton and has been given the label MSS 3.2. This collection contains 1 box of manuscript materials and a number of volumes of published work from Irving Layton's personal library.
